| Spool EmPower is the most innovative
report distribution tool available on the HP NonStop server. The
product is uniquely structured so the end user can choose from
several different modules to meet the needs of their environment.
Since each module is licensed independently users can combine
any number of available options.
E-Mail Module - Using SMTP or MAPI conventions,
distribute reports directly from the spooler straight to a user's
e-mail account. Provides a secure and timely alternative for many
organizations. A "Save to Disk" option is also included
with this module.
FTP Module - This feature allows the user to
send jobs to an FTP server.
Print Module - With the Print Module jobs can
be routed from the spooler to any Windows NT2000 or Windows XP
supported printer. Options are available to format the font and
page orientation, as well as many other features.
Fax Module - Again, any Windows NT2000 or Windows
XP supported fax modem in your network can receive jobs directly
from the spooler with this module.
Host Module - Need an SMTP or FTP option that eliminates PC intervention?
The Host module offers just that.
FTPSERV Module - This will allow any FTP client
to connect to the Tandem Spooler thus viewing and managing the
spooler as a conventional file system; a powerful feature that
has the ability to text search through the spooler looking for
a specific data string.
Reformat Module – Provides the ability
to extract and reformat certain lines and or columns of data.
After the reformatting - use one of the above options to deliver
your newly created report.
